The Swine Palace Theatre Resident Company is made up of the current LSU MFA candidates in Acting, Costume Design and Technology, Properties Technology, and Scenic Design and Technology. Together, these graduate artists form the creative core of each season, collaborating across disciplines to bring every production to life. Through their work with Swine Palace Theatre, Resident Company members gain invaluable professional experience while developing their craft in a rigorous, collaborative environment that prepares them for careers in the performing arts.
MFA in Acting

Nicole Lovince is an actress, singer, and producer from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Acting at Louisiana State University, where she also teaches as an Instructor of Record. Nicole earned her BA in Theatre and Film Acting from Bowling Green State University, graduating Cum Laude, and completed advanced classical training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) in the UK with a concentration in Shakespeare. Some of her film and television credits include Pitch Perfect, Dear White People, NCIS: New Orleans, and horror film KillHer. At Swine Palace, she has appeared as Lizzy Darcy in Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley and Judith in The Totality of All Things. Passionate about storytelling across mediums, Nicole enjoys creating work that bridges theatre, film, and music while championing bold, imaginative stories that celebrate the complexity of the human experience.
