The LSU Early Childhood Education Laboratory Preschool is proud to announce that Demika Gilmore, BS, has been selected as one of the five finalists for the Early Childhood Educator of the Year award. This prestigious recognition highlights her dedication, passion, and exceptional contributions to early childhood education.

Badeaux is a two-time LSU alumna and currently serves as the Interim Dean of the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health and the Nurse Anesthesia Program Coordinator at Northwestern State University.

The Homelessness in Our Community class taught by Kerri Tobin, PhD, partnered with Youth Oasis, a non-profit organization that supports youth and young adults recovering from the trauma of homelessness and family separation through housing, healthcare, and advocacy.
