The Lutrill & Pearl Payne School of Education is accredited at the initial- and advanced-licensure level by CAEP, the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation. National recognition was earned by demonstrating excellence in the areas of content and pedagogy, clinical experiences, selectivity, program impact, and capacity for continuous improvement. The most recent accreditation through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) was approved in 2020 and continues through spring 2027. The K-12 Health & Physical Education concentration within the BS in Kinesiology is nationally recognized by the National Association for Physical Education, Sport/American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
School of Leadership & Human Resource Development
The LHRD undergraduate degree is aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the national organization, and foremost expert, convener, and thought leader on issues impacting today's evolving workplaces. SHRM recognized that our curriculum prepares HRD students to meet the needs of today's businesses.
School of Social Work
The Masters of Social Work (MSW) program is accredited by the Council in Social Work Education (CSWE), the only body recognized by the Council for HIgher Education Accreditation to accredit social work education programs in the United States.
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree is currently in candidacy with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
