LSU Leadership Development Institute Director Named to Leadership Baton Rouge Class of 2025

BATON ROUGE, LA —  The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) recently announced the Leadership Baton Rouge Class of 2025, marking the 40th year of this prestigious program dedicated to developing future leaders in the Capital Region. Lacy Dicharry, ABD, MS, MBA, SHRM-SCP, proudly represents the LSU Leadership Development Institute in the Leadership Baton Rouge Class of 2025. On her selection she says, "I’m honored to join this incredible group of leaders in Leadership Baton Rouge and am excited to learn how to be of greater service to our city."
 
The 2025 cohort will engage in a 10-month leadership program designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and network to drive meaningful change in the Baton Rouge community. Covering topics such as education, economic development, and healthcare, the program challenges its members to take active roles in shaping the region’s future.  
 
Since its founding in 1985, Leadership Baton Rouge has graduated over 1,400 leaders, many of whom now serve on boards, commissions, and in elected offices at local, state, and federal levels.

Leadership Baton Rouge was founded as a BRAC program to prepare a group of professionals for leadership positions in the community. There are now more than 1,400 graduates of the program, many of whom serve in leadership positions on boards and commissions and hold local, state, or federal elected offices. The College of Human Sciences & Education (CHSE) is a nationally accredited division of Louisiana State University. The college is comprised of the School of Education, the School of Information Studies, the School of Kinesiology, the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development, and the School of Social Work.
