Dr. Junho Kim is an Assistant Professor of Sport Management in the School of Kinesiology
at Louisiana State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Sport Management from the University
of Florida after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Master’s
degree in Sport Management at Seoul National University. His research focuses on sport
consumer behavior, with particular emphasis on how psychological and contextual factors
shape sport fans’ attitudes and behaviors. In his research, Dr. Kim draws extensively
on theoretical frameworks from consumer psychology, marketing, and communication.
His current work examines how sport fans’ perceptions of time influence their psychological
and behavioral responses to sport organizations and events. He also conducts research
on social issues in sport, sport branding, and strategic communication.
