Jose Rodriguez
Residence Coordinator
I was a first-generation college student who had no idea what I was doing in college, even questioning my place at a university. Thankfully, I was embraced by campus staff, and they gave me support systems that I am grateful for to this day.
Every day, I come into my office with the mindset that I can make a difference in a college student’s life through every interaction.
It takes the whole community to make a great living experience. Remember that every resident plays an integral role in creating a harmonious building. -Jose
My 'living on campus' credentials
I have lived on campus for 8 years now! WOW! I lived on campus all four years at my undergrad, two years as a graduate student, and two years as a professional.
Reading between the lines
I love memoirs! My favorites are “Educated” by Tara Westover, “Dear America, Notes of an Undocumented Citizen” by Jose Antonio Vargas, and "Greenlights" by Matthew McConaughey.
