From the moment I came to campus as an undergraduate student, I knew LSU was home. I want every student at LSU to have the same sense of belonging that I felt as a student. Much of my connection to campus was because I was involved in campus life through student organizations, service, and campus employment. 

I am passionate about student employment because a student’s on-campus job can enhance their educational experience and help prepare them for life after college. To me, college is about the opportunity to learn, explore, and find a passion – my hope is that a campus job can help with those pursuits. I love what I do because it gives me the opportunity to positively impact the student experience at LSU.

My favorite line of the alma mater

“Fond memories that waken in our hearts a tender glow, And make us happy for the love that we have learned to know.”

There’s nothing like singing the alma mater after a football game in Tiger Stadium! LSU is a special place to me for many reasons, but the main one is the memories and life-long friends I made while in college.

Local tourist

In my free time, I enjoy visiting the free festivals, entertainment, and markets around town. Some of my favorites are the Red Stick Farmers Market, Makers Market, and Live After Five.

Where it all started

I got my start at LSU through an on-campus job with the LSU AgCenter and 4-H Youth Development Department. Having an on-campus job with 4-H started my career and led me to where I am today.
