As the Career Coach for the College of Engineering at LSU, I collaborate with a dedicated team to empower students in their career journeys. With over a decade of experience in management, education, and quality assurance, I excel at building connections between students and employers while fostering professional growth.

A natural problem-solver with a STEM-rich background, I have developed robotics and drone curricula, coached teams to state-level victories, and inspired future engineers, construction managers, and computer scientists. I pride myself on effective communication, collaboration, and networking to drive impactful results.

I collaborate with a dedicated team to empower students in their career journeys.

My favorite spot

The capstone space in Patrick F. Taylor Hall, where students bring their ideas to life. I have had the privilege of teaching robotics and drone courses in these spaces, guiding students as they transform concepts into hands-on projects. I especially enjoy it when the Formula SAE team has a racecar on display, showcasing their incredible engineering talent and teamwork.

Words to live by

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." — Winston Churchill. This quote resonates with me as it encapsulates the perseverance and growth mindset I strive to instill in students and live by in my own life.

Passion for projects

Outside of work, I channel my creativity and problem-solving skills into working on my many projects. I enjoy restoring and modifying anything with an engine, exploring new engineering challenges, and transforming ideas into results. The process mirrors the career development journey—identifying areas for improvement, creating a plan, and achieving results.
