Fall Family Weekend

All family members of LSU students are invited to campus for a weekend of activities, programs, and the chance to see the LSU Tigers take on the Army Black Knights under the lights of Tiger Stadium. Family Weekend allows parents and families from across the globe to:
- Spend valuable time with your Tiger
- Explore campus, your Tiger's "home away from home"
- Experience LSU traditions

Registration is required to participate in Family Weekend activities. Registration is now closed.

The deadline to join the LSU Family Association in order to be eligible for priority registration for Family Weekend was Thursday, August 31. |

Priority registration for Family Association members opened on Tuesday, September 12 at 10 a.m. CDT. All Family Association members received an email on September 12 with the link to register and pay for their family members to attend Family Weekend. |

Package Details
Purple Package
Cost: $50 per family member and $50 per LSU student
Individual family members will have access to Family Weekend signature events on Friday and Saturday. These events include the Bengal Block Party on Friday (no food included) and the Family Weekend Tailgate on Saturday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet). Includes Family Weekend souvenirs.
Gold Package - *SOLD OUT*
Cost: $80 per family member and $80 per LSU student
Individual family members will have access to Family Weekend signature events for
the entire weekend. These events include the Bengal Block Party on Friday (no food
included), the Family Weekend Tailgate on Saturday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat
buffet), and Jazz Brunch on Sunday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet).
Includes Family Weekend souvenirs. The two time slots for the Jazz Brunch on Sunday,
October 22 are 9–10:30 a.m. and 12–1:30 p.m.
Please note:
- You must register and pay for all family members attending Family Weekend signature events, including your LSU student.
- There is no charge for children ages 5 and under to attend Family Weekend, but they must be listed on your registration form, so they will have a pass and lanyard to access the events.
- Only registered family members will be allowed access to Family Weekend Events.
- Your Family Weekend registration fee does not include football tickets, as those must be purchased separately after you complete your Family Weekend registration. For more information about ticket prices and policies, please visit our Football Tickets page.
- All payments for LSU Family Weekend are made using a credit card on the registration form. There is a 3% processing fee for all transactions.
- Registrations are non-refundable.

- Other campus activities that do not require pre-registration are also listed. Additional open houses, academic college meet & greets, specialized tours, and more will be added to the schedule in the coming weeks. Please check back here for the most up-to-date schedule.
University Recreation (UREC) Access during Family Weekend:
During LSU Family Weekend, LSU UREC is offering $5 day passes to family members of
UREC members. Family member must be sponsored by a current LSU UREC member and have
a government-issued photo ID with them when they arrive. For any questions about LSU
UREC guest passes, please visit LSU UREC's website. UREC's hours of operation can be found here.
Members of the LSU Family Association receive two (2) complimentary UREC day passes per academic year. To redeem your complimentary day passes, all you need to do is visit the UREC main desk and show them your LSU Family Association card, and the student worker will grant you access to UREC for the day. A note will be made on your account that the passes have been redeemed for the fiscal year.

Free Family 2-Hour Bike Rentals

UREC (enter via the East Entrance to access the Outdoor Center)
Come with your Tiger to the UREC Outdoor Center and receive a free 2-hour beach cruiser bike rental for your family. Student must present their Tiger Card. Bike availability and sizes are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
On-Campus Housing 101

Join LSU Residential Life for a sneak peek of living on campus as an upperclass student! Chat with our staff about the application process and on-campus upperclass living options; take a virtual tour of East Campus Apartments (ECA), West Campus Apartments (WCA), and Nicholson Gateway Apartments (NGW); and ask questions regarding your Tiger's current housing assignment.
We'll also have a table set up in front of the Old President’s House with more information about upperclass housing, some giveaway items, and lawn games.
Zip Line Fun: 1-Hour “All You Can Zip” - *SOLD OUT*

UREC Challenge Course
Cost: $10 per person (includes guest pass for UREC daily access)
Come enjoy UREC’s new 450 ft zipline! Guests must pre-register in order to attend this event. Guests can sign up for a one hour-long timeslot, which includes all-you-can-zip. This event is open to everyone (minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Limited space is available.

Join us for our signature event to officially kick off Family Weekend and celebrate the spirit of Homecoming! There will be games, music, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Food trucks will be available to purchase snacks on your own. Click here to view the list of food trucks and menu items available to purchase (via cash or credit card). Registrants can also bring in outside food or beverages. This will be an outdoor event (weather permitting).
Performances by the Tiger Girls, LSU Cheerleaders, and featured guest speakers will begin at 6 p.m. in front of the Memorial Tower. The 2023 LSU Homecoming Court will also be presented during that time.
NPHC Homecoming Step Show - *SOLD OUT*

Cost: $15 per person
Join the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) for their second annual step show in celebration of Homecoming Week! Students, family, friends, and alumni are invited to come watch LSU NPHC Organizations compete for first place in an amazing step show. Guests must purchase tickets in order to attend, and this event is expected to sell out quickly. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Come lounge in UREC's beautiful leisure river in the shape of LSU before you partake in gameday activities! Your LSU student must present their Tiger Card. Family members can join their student by purchasing a $5 UREC guest pass. Family Association members can obtain up to two complimentary guest passes by showing their Family Association membership card at the main desk.

Tailgating is an LSU Tradition! Join us for the biggest tailgate on the Parade Ground with food, live music featuring the Beaucoop Boogie band, special appearances, inflatables, a photo booth, face painting, cornhole tournament, and more! Look for our white tents, Family Weekend flags, and balloons. Even if you are not attending the football game, you are welcome to join the fun and attend the tailgate as long as you are pre-registered. Click here to view the menu.
Family Weekend Cornhole Tournament

Only families registered for the Family Weekend Tailgate are eligible to participate in the Cornhole Tournament. Teams consist of two people. Stay tuned for more details.
PMAC Fan Zone

Pete Maravich Assembly Center (PMAC)
The PMAC will be open to the public with access to restrooms and is a great place
for fans to take a break from the heat. The Tiger Band will perform in the PMAC after
the Victory Hill Parade.

Check-In Details & Reminders
Check-in for Family Weekend will be held on the second floor of the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore on:
Friday, October 20 from 11 a.m.–8 p.m.
Saturday, October 21 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
Upon checking in, you will receive:
- Access badge for each pre-registered guest in your group
- One clear bag per family (adheres to the Clear Bag Policy)
- Souvenirs
- Family Weekend 2023 T-Shirts (if you pre-ordered them)
Only one member of your group needs to check-in to pick-up the materials for all pre-registered family members. Check-in is required in order to receive the access badges for your family, which will grant you access to the events throughout Family Weekend. Each family member must wear their access badge to each of the Family Weekend signature events in order to participate.
You will receive an email on Thursday, October 19 with your Family Weekend Check-In Tickets. You must show a copy of your tickets (via phone or printout) to our check-in staff in order to receive your Family Weekend materials listed above.
Even if your family does not plan to attend events until Saturday, you are welcome
to come by the second floor of the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore on Friday, October
20 to check-in and receive your Family Weekend packet. You may also send your Tiger
to the Bookstore on Friday to pick up the materials for your family.

Arrival, Parking, & Other
If you want to take full advantage of the opportunities available throughout the weekend, we encourage you to arrive by Friday morning (October 20). We will host educational sessions, meet-and-greets, and more throughout Friday. The tailgate and football game will be held on Saturday, and the weekend will culminate with a Jazz Brunch on Sunday. More details about the Family Weekend 2023 schedule will be posted on our schedule of events as they become available.
