LSU Executive Education Offering Bundled Negotiation Strategies Courses

LSU Executive Education is now offering a new bundle of two high-impact certificate courses focused on negotiation strategies and techniques. This program, consisting of two 7-hour sessions led by Dr. James Fargason, will immerse you in the art of negotiation, with a focus on how to create and maximize value in the process of deal-making.
Course 1: Negotiation Strategies: Creating & Maximizing Value & Influence (September 24, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
Course 2: Advanced Negotiation Strategies & Techniques (October 15, 2024 – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
In the first course, you will learn common tactics used in the negotiation process, including:
- The key benefits found in long-term relationship building
- Framing techniques and how to use them
- Skills that can aid in building the right strategy
- The criticality of offering creative solutions
- Methods for closing the deal
In the following course, you will dive deeper into deal-making processes, covering topics such as:
- Decision-making processes and flaws
- Relationships, ego and emotion
- Interests
- Negotiation expectations
- Dynamics of negotiation tactics and techniques
The registration deadline is September 11, 2024 and the cost is $800 per participant, a savings of $100 over enrolling in each separately. This course fee includes both courses, all class materials, break refreshments, and lunches.
