The Master of Science in Financial Economics (MSFE) is a non-thesis master’s degree program that provides academically distinguished and industry-oriented students an opportunity to obtain a rigorous, graduate-level finance and economics education in an intensive 10-month program.
The 36-hour MSFE program consists of a core of macroeconomic, microeconomic, and finance theory and practice as well as 3 to 4 elective courses used to tailor the curriculum to individual interests. The program emphasizes data science and analytics tools and techniques used to extract meaning and value from financial data for financial decision-making.
The MSFE is a STEM designated program.
International students in STEM degree programs can apply for a 24-month STEM extension of their F-1 Optional Practical Training.
