October 25, 2024

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business proudly recognizes award-winning student organizations: Alpha Kappa Psi, Beta Alpha Psi and Delta Sigma Pi.

"We are very proud of the students behind these remarkable accomplishments," said Jared J. Llorens, dean of the E. J. Ourso College of Business. "I urge all business students to join a group that matches their interests. Involvement in student organizations plays a key role in both personal and professional development. These groups offer career exploration, networking, and leadership growth."

Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi)

The Beta Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi was honored as one of 16 outstanding chapters at the 62nd Alpha Kappa Psi Convention in Indianapolis. The LSU chapter received this recognition for its significant impact on the Greater Baton Rouge community through volunteer service activities benefiting organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the USS Kidd.

Alpha Kappa Psi is the country's oldest and most prestigious co-ed business organization. The Beta Chi Chapter offers LSU business students programming that focuses on professionalism, networking, brotherhood and leadership.
