Faculty Promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure

BATON ROUGE - The E. J. Ourso College of Business is proud to announce that Sanaz Aghazadeh, Department of Accounting, and Donald Lund, Department of Marketing were both promoted to associate professor with tenure this academic year.
Aghazadeh earned her PhD in business administration/accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and has taught at LSU since 2015. Her teaching interests include auditing and cost accounting, and her research examines the judgment and decision-making behavior of auditors. Specifically, she studies how auditor-client interactions impact audit effectiveness. Aghazadeh has been published in various academic journals including Accounting, Organizations and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, and Behavioral Research in Accounting.
Lund earned his PhD in business administration/marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2010 and has taught at LSU since 2018. His teaching interests include marketing strategy, marketing analytics, and marketing research. Lund’s research focuses on customer relationships at the consumer and organizational levels, and his work was published in various journals including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Retailing, Journal of International Marketing, and the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management.
Aghazadeh and Lund, along with other faculty awarded promotion and/or tenure throughout the university in 2021 and 2022, will be honored at an official ceremony on Tuesday, May 17 from 3-5 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center.
