Nur Al Faisal is a Finance PhD candidate at the E. J. Ourso College of Business at
Louisiana State University. He received his Bachelor and MS in Bank Management from
National University, Bangladesh, and MBA in Finance from IBA, University of Dhaka.
Faisal’s research interests are in Banking, Innovation, Corporate Finance and Textual
Analysis in Finance. His job market paper studies how banks price discriminate based
on customers’ geo-spatial location in the deposit market. Faisal has great passions
for teaching and is interested in teaching corporate finance, financial analytics,
financial institutions and markets, risk management, and fintech.
