Specialty Clinic

Dermatology care is offered in this clinic by appointment only. There may be fees assessed for the visit and associating testing and procedures.

Injection Clinic 

Students can receive both required and recommended immunizations, allergy injections, and travel vaccines. There are fees assessed for immunizations and injections.

Pharmacy

Kiosk

Services include a pharmacy kiosk where students can conveniently pick up most prescriptions prescribed at the LSU Student Health Center before leaving the building and can refill daily-use prescriptions. The kiosk is located in Suite 172 on the first floor and contains over 500 of the most prescribed medications. Students should bring an insurance card and a form of payment.

Delivery

There is also a limited pharmacy delivery service for students who do not have transportation or who are unable to leave their residence hall or off-campus apartment due to illness or injury.

Diagnostic Imaging

Students can obtain routine x-ray examinations. There are fees assessed for diagnostic imaging.

Laboratory

Services

The lab collects and performs testing ordered by Student Health Center and outside providers. There are fees assessed for lab testing. 

The lab is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA), ensuring that quality of care standards are met.

Sexual Transmitted Infection (STI) Testing

Recommended testing is based on CDC guidelines for asymptomatic screening, symptoms, and/or risk factors. Students can discuss all options with their provider. Testing specimens may be oral, genital, and rectal swabs, urine, and/or blood.

Physical Rehabilitation
