Dr. Michael Leitner invited to Bains Elementary School in St. Francisville to talk about maps

 

On September 16, Dr. Michael Leitner was invited to Bains Elementary School in St. Francisville, West Feliciana Parish to talk about maps with 4th grade students. He explained the content of topographic maps and how they are made. Students analyzed maps of St. Francisville and their school, before creating mental maps of their own.
