Anthropology faculty co-authors chapter in volume on "Ethical and Methodological Dilemmas in Social Science Interventions"

Congratulations to Assistant Professor Helena Fietz on the recent publication of "Caring in Precarious Times: Engagement as a Situated Discreet Practice." The chapter, co-authored by Cíntia Engel (Institute for Bioethics and Health Humanities, Galveston) and Helena Fietz (LSU G&A), explores care practices, infrastructures, and politics in Brazil based on fieldwork between 2016 and 2019. The paper contributes to Ethical and Methodological Dilemmas in Social Science Interventions Careful Engagements in Healthcare, Museums, Design and Beyond, a book edited by Doris Lydahl and Niels Christian Mossfeldt Nickelsen, and published by Springer.
