Recent Graduate Hired to Tenure-Track Position

Jacob Warner (PhD GEOG&ANTH 2021) has been hired into a tenure track assistant professor position beginning Fall 2022 in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability at SUNY Oneonta.  The position is part of a cluster hire conducted by SUNY Oneonta focusing on implementing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals in New York. Jacob’s dissertation work has so far been published in Chemical Geology and the Journal of Island and Coastal Archaeology, and he was employed as a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Geosciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette following his graduation in December 2021. Jacob will be joining fellow LSU G&A graduate Ashley Allen (PhD GEOG 2020) who was hired to the same department in Fall 2021.
