G&A alumnae present at symposium dedicated to women archaeologists
Congratulations to Kimberly Munro (PhD, G&A, 2018) and Elizabeth Cruzado (PhD, G&A, 2021) on their recent contribution to the online symposium "Aporte de las mujeres investigadoras en la arqueología de Ancash" sponsored by the Proyecto Sechín and the Instituto Peruano Cultural Deportivo Yaguar. The event, held online on July 1, was organized by Mónica Suárez (director of the Proyecto Sechín) to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the discovery of Cerro Sechín, one of the most famous archaeological sites in north-central Peru.
Kimberly and Elizabeth video presentations drew from their dissertation field research in Ancash, at Cosma and Nivín, respectively.
Thanks for representing our department so well!
