Anthropology Alumna Hired by the National Park Service
Congratulations to G+A alumna Sadie Schoeffler (MA Anthropology, 2022) on her recent hire by the National Center for Preservation Technology & Training (NCPTT) in Natchitoches, Louisiana. At LSU, and under the mentoring of Dr. Ginesse Listi, Sadie completed a thesis examining "Unmarked Human Burial Site Policy in Louisiana: Pre-Columbian Context and Community Perspectives." For her new position at the NCPTT, a branch of the National Park Service, Sadie will assist preservationists in developing tools, materials, and approaches to conserving buildings, landscapes, sites, and collections. All the best in this new and exciting adventure!
