Jay Edwards Talk at Burden Symposium
This year, the subject of the Ione E. Burden annual Symposium, presented by the LSU
Rural Life Museum, is “Discovering 300 Years of Louisiana’s German Coast.” It is
held at the Rural Life Museum on Essen Lane (at I-10) this March 5, a Saturday. Registration
begins at 8:00 a.m. One of the speakers will be Jay Edwards (G&A, Anthropology, Emeritus).
There are four 45 minute talks.
Edwards’s talk is scheduled at 10:15 a.m. “THE LOST LEGACY OF GERMAN DOMESTIC ARCHITECTURE
IN LOUISIANA’S CULTURAL LANDSCAPES.”
