Student Worker, Kendall Brome, awarded Fall 2020 Distinguished Undergraduate Researcher Award

Congratulations to student worker, Kendall Brome, who was awarded as one of the Fall 2020 LSU Distinguished Undergraduate Researchers!  She worked with Dr. Kristine DeLong on the Little Cayman coral project in the PAST lab for the past 1.5 years.  Her work consisted of micro-milling corals and sampling the corals for geochemical analysis to reconstruct the past climate of the Caribbean 1300 years ago. She presented her research last week at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting where 23,000 researchers presented their research virtually.
