Congratulations to Faculty Award Winners

 The following professors have been named 2019 Award recipients in several categories:

Dr. Kory Konsoer:

  • The LSU Alumni Association Rising Faculty Research Award recognizes faculty at the rank of assistant professor who have outstanding records of scholarship and published research.  Dr. Konsoer is recognized for his value to LSU and contribution to academia.  Recipients of this award will be recognized at a reception on April 29, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center.

Dr. Heather McKillop:

  • The TAF Undergraduate Teaching Award from the LSU Ogden Honors College.  This award is funded by the Tiger Athletic Foundation.  The Awards Committee was especially impressed with Dr. McKillop's valuable contributions to the Honors College, either through teaching HNRS classes, directing undergraduate Honors Theses, and to the college community as a whole.  Recipients of this award will be recognized at the Distinguished Faculty Awards Ceremony on May 1, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center.

Dr. Jill Trepanier:

  • The LSU Alumni Association Faculty Excellence Award recognizes faculty members for outstanding teaching, research, and/or service.  The Awards Committee recognizes Dr. Trepanier's commitment to teaching, and enthusiasm to imparting knowledge. Recipients of this award will be recognized at a reception on April 29, 2019 from 3-5 p.m. at the Lod Cook Alumni Center.
