Dr. Robert Lipton leads a team in a $7.5 million Air Force Office of Scientific Research MURI grant, focused on Transformational Electromagnetics Research. Their contribution to the national project aims to enhance long-range communication through amplifying high-fidelity waves.

LSU Mathematics Professor Michael Malisoff, in collaboration with Rutgers Assistant Professor Laurent Burlion, secured an ONR grant to develop interval observers for improved shipboard landing and formation control of Naval aircraft.
