Graduate Experience

Master of Mass Communication
Did you earn your undergraduate degree in another discipline, but now want to work in a mass communication field? Looking for advanced professional training? Want to prepare yourself for a doctoral program? Then our Master of Mass Communication (M.M.C.) degree is a good fit for you.
Dual MMC/Law Degree
The Manship School of Mass Communication and the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center are one of only a handful of schools in the U.S. that offer a dual degree in mass communication and law. Students earn both degrees concurrently in four years.
Ph.D. in Media & Public Affairs
The Manship School is home to the nation’s only doctoral program in media & public affairs.
Certificate in Strategic Communication
This 15-hour graduate degree allows for specializations such as health and science communication, politics and issue advocacy, or sports communication.
