Teaching Interest

My greatest joy in teaching revolves around clinical skills. I strive to provide a non-stressful environment where students can develop large animal handling and technical skills through hands-on opportunities, frequent constructive feedback and discussion, and positive energy to promote enthusiastic learning and engagement.

Clinical Interest

I enjoy many aspects of equine medicine with particular emphasis on gastrointestinal, respiratory, and skin disorders. I also enjoy small ruminant medicine-oriented cases. My favorite cases to evaluate are animals with chronic weight loss in all large animal species.
