Erin Anthony, UCFY Counselor Erin Anthony Academic Counselor 150-N Allen Hall 225-578-5763 eanthony@lsu.edu Erin Anthony is a licensed professional counselor. She joined LSU in 2007. As a counselor with University College’s Center for Freshman Year, she has worked with first year students in a number of capacities through various programs, activities, and daily advising sessions.  Anthony earned her Master of Science in Community Counseling.
Kris Bromley Kris Bromley Academic Counselor 150-M Allen Hall 225-578-2846 kpilan1@lsu.edu   Kris Bromley earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a Latin America concentration in 2017 from LSU. She then obtained her Master of Social Work in 2019 also from LSU. Kris is currently a Certified Social Worker and is working towards her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license. She joined University College Center for Freshman Year in May 2019.  
Amelie Byrom, UCFY Academic Advisor Amelie K Byrom Academic Counselor 150-D Allen Hall 225-578-5342 akbyrom@lsu.edu  Amelie Byrom earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family studies from LSU in May 2019. She then obtained her Master of Art in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education and Student Affairs from LSU in May 2021. During her graduate program, she worked as a graduate assistant in LSU’s Olinde Career Center. Amelie Joined LSU’s University College Center for Freshman Year as an academic counselor in May 2021and is excited to continue assisting and empowering students in their academic careers and pursue their career goals.

Amy Cave joined LSU University College Center for Freshman Year in 2021.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications , Master of Library and Information Science, and Master of Social Work from LSU.  Cave is a Certified Social Worker and is working towards her Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).  She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Ashley Granger Ashley Granger Academic Counselor & SSP Coordinator 150-X Allen Hall 225-578-7465 agranger@lsu.edu Ashley rejoined UCFY in April of 2019 after serving as the associate director of academic affairs in the LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes. Ashley has worked in various departments at the University, which include the LSU Student Health Center. Ashley earned both her bachelor's and master’s degrees at LSU. She was awarded the LSU Advisor of the Year Award in 2013 and the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Outstanding New Advising Award in 2014. Ashley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor (BACS).  
Elizabeth Hymel, UCFY Acadeimc Advisor Elizabeth Hymel Academic Counselor 150-C Allen Hall 225-588-2908 ehymel6@lsu.edu  Elizabeth Hymel is a two-time alumna of LSU; she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minor in Communication Studies in 2018 and her Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling in May 2021. During her graduate program, she interned at LSU’s Mental Health Services and was a graduate assistant at LSU’s Disability Services; she truly has a passion for working with LSU students.  Elizabeth is currently a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and member of the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA).
Dana Lewis, UCFY Academic Counselor Dana Lewis Academic Counselor 150-R Allen Hall 225-578-2870 dlewi56@lsu.edu Dana Lewis earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics from LSU in 2017. She also earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LSU in May 2020. Dana interned at Youth Oasis, a youth shelter in Baton Rouge, as well as LSU Mental Health Services during her time in her graduate program. She is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA). 
Chais Michael, UCFY Academic Counselor Chais Michael Academic Counselor 150-L Allen Hall 225-578-2850 chaismichael@lsu.edu  Chais Michael joined the Center for Freshman Year in May of 2021. Chais is a two-time graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a Bachelor's in Child & Family Studies and Master of Education in College Student Personnel. She is a proud first-generation college student with a passion for all helping students discover their passions as her mentors did through her undergraduate career.
Sarah Oldendorf Sarah Oldendorf Academic Counselor 150-M Allen Hall 225-578-2846 sabuha2@lsu.edu  Sarah Oldendorf earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Business, Spanish, and Sociology in 2015 from LSU. She then went on to obtain her Masters of Education in Mental Health Counseling also from LSU, graduating in May 2020. Sarah interned at BRCC's Counseling Center and LSU Mental Health Services during her graduate program. She is currently a PLPC (Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor) and is thrilled to be part of the UCFY team.
Jennifer Ramezan, UCFY Counselor Jennifer Ramezan Academic Counselor 150-O Allen Hall 225-578-2871 jwale1@lsu.edu  Jennifer Wale Ramezan earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Community Counseling degree, both from LSU. She previously worked as an academic counselor with the LSU College of Humanities & Social Sciences. She currently works with all students interested in pursuing a Pre-Nursing degree from LSU. Ramezan’s passion for academic counseling extends beyond the office, as she assists students learning about all of LSU’s available resources, so that students are as successful as possible in their personal and academic paths. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with the state of Louisiana and is a member of the Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA), Louisiana College Counseling Association (LCCA) and the Louisiana Association for Spiritual, Religious and Ethical Values in Counseling (LASERVIC).
Gwen Snearl, UCFY Counselor Gwen Snearl Academic Counselor 150-T Allen Hall 225-578-9265 gsnearl@lsu.edu Gwendolyn Snearl earned her Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Science at University of Louisiana at Lafayette (formerly known as University of Southwestern Louisiana). She has worked in University College in a variety of roles, as well as in Multicultural Affairs.
