Biography

Qinqin Wang is a second-year doctoral student in the Manship School of Mass Communication. She has a master’s degree in media studies from University of South Florida (2018) and a B.A. in journalism from Tianjin Normal University in China (2014). Her primarily research interests are media law and media philosophy, including freedom of expression, social justice, hate speech, privacy and the First Amendment studies. Her teaching interests incline to media law and media ethics. She interned with local Television Station and News Agency in China (2014-2015). She worked as a student assistant for Coproduction Research Network at Copenhagen University and helped to organize European Coproduction Symposium of Copenhagen University (2016).
