LSU ChE Professor Receives AAAS Fellows Award

LSU Cain Department of Chemical Engineering Professor Krishnaswamy Nandakumar recently received the American Association for The Advancement of Science (AAAS) Fellows Award. AAAS Fellows are recognized for their extraordinary achievements across disciplines including research, teaching, technology, services to professional societies, administration in academia, industry and government, and communicating and interpreting science to the public.

“I am very happy that one of my colleagues from outside of LSU nominated me for this award,” Nandakumar said. “It’s a recognition of my contributions to the field of engineering by the broader community.”

AAAS is one of the world’s largest multidisciplinary scientific societies and a leading publisher of research through its Science family of journals. AAAS has members in 91 countries.
