Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the primary airport serving the New Orleans metropolitan area. It is located in Kenner, Louisiana, about 11 miles west of downtown New Orleans. MSY features a modern terminal that opened in November 2019.  It has a sleek, contemporary design with an emphasis on passenger comfort and efficiency.
