ASCE i3ce 2025 Call for Papers

The i3ce 2025 proceedings will be published in the ASCE Library and will be available online to registered attendees by the end of 2025. To encourage interactive exchanges of ideas, presentations will have various formats, including traditional presentations and poster presentations.

Types of Papers

This year, we are accepting two kinds of papers: research papers and short papers.

  • Research papers are expected to be no more than 10 pages in length, including references. They should describe deeper and more mature research results.
  • Prospective papers are expected to be 5 pages in length, including references. They can describe nascent and/or preliminary research in a new direction.

Both paper types will be provided a DOI, indexed, and included in the conference proceedings.

Submission Guidelines

To be considered for review, each paper must follow the formatting guidelines set forth by the ASCE. For your convenience, a Microsoft Word template is available.

To submit a paper, create an account and make a submission: SUBMIT PAPER

Please note that failure to comply with the following guidelines will result in the rejection of the paper without review:

  • Abstract Submission: An abstract of up to 2000 characters is required for paper submission. Although abstracts will not be reviewed, they are necessary to allow us additional time to assign technical tracks and reviewers before the full submission.
  • Paper Format: Research papers must not exceed 10 pages, and Perspective papers must not exceed 5 pages, including references. All papers must be submitted in PDF format, and a reference list is required for all submissions.
  • Presentation Format: Upon full paper submission, please indicate whether you prefer to present the paper in a traditional format or via a poster presentation. If opting for the latter, you will be considered for the best poster competition.

Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines, and we look forward to your submission.
