Jerry Spivey Receives Charles E. Coates Memorial Award

Congratulations go to Prof. Jerry Spivey for receiving the Charles E. Coates Memorial Award. This award is granted for outstanding contributions to the professions of chemistry or chemical engineering, the corresponding professional society, and the Baton Rouge community. The award was established in 1957 by the Baton Rouge Sections of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) to honor the memory of Charles E. Coates, one of Louisiana’s most prominent figures in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
