Remembering Prof. Louis J. Thibodeaux
Prof. Louis J. Thibodeaux was a dear friend, colleague, teacher, and mentor. He always had a smile, a kind word, and a great story. His family and colleagues recently started a project to honor his legacy. If you’d like to be a part of the effort to establish a scholarship/award in his memory, please visit the LSU Foundation’s giving page, Louis J. Thibodeaux Memorial Fund.
Our loss was sad news for everyone, but we are blessed for his impact on our lives. We ask that you share photos and stories of Louis with us. If you have any photos you’d like to share, please send them to Frank Blystad, fblyst13@lsu.edu, and we will share them in our newsletter and on Facebook.
If you would like to share your reflections, we’d love to hear them. You can post them in the comments section on our Facebook page or send them to us (fblyst13@lsu.edu). We’ll put together a compendium of reflections and photos and share them with his family in the coming months. If you’d like to remain anonymous, that’s no problem, just let us know.
If you’re like us, then you’re sad that Louis is no longer here to make you smile, laugh, and most of all think. But you’re also grateful that you got the chance share time with Louis on his favorite planet. Remember, there is no Planet B.
