Dr. Harry Toups Receives 2018 LSU CxC Outstanding Faculty Award

Congratulations go to Dr. Harry Toups who was chosen as the recipient of the 2018 LSU CxC Outstanding Faculty Award! This award was created to celebrate and honor the commitment, dedication, and excellence that define and enable transformative teaching, learning, and, ultimately, student success via CxC (Communication Across the Curriculum). The award committee recognized that Dr. Toups consistently models the possibilities and practical benefits of communication-intensive approaches and demonstrates that in the quest for teaching and learning excellence, collaboration is key. LSU will formally recognize his service at LSU’s Distinguished Faculty Awards Ceremony on May 2, 2018 at the Lod Cook Alumni Center from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. He will also receive a $1,500 cash award generously supported by the Renee and Leslie Hull Fund at the Baton Rouge Area Foundation.
