Jerry Forest joined the department in fall 2016 as an adjunct professor. Jerry Forest – Bio
Global Process Safety Manager, Celanese
Jerry has over 30 years’ experience in process safety with a strong manufacturing background in isocyanates, hydrazine propellants and refining at Celanese, and LyondellBasell and predecessor companies Lyondell, Arco, and Olin. He is presently the global process safety manager for Celanese. Jerry has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and MBA from Louisiana State University, and an MPS from Loyola University. His personal mission in process safety is to save lives, protect the environment, and preserve jobs by preventing process safety incidents.
