To Our Alumni and Friends,
The stories in this newsletter represent the great LSU Tiger spirit at work. We all
carry that same spirit! Your philanthropic contributions to the college provide flexible
funding that helps spark new discoveries and helps students reach their goals. Your
gifts also provide support for student and faculty retention initiatives, educational
programs, capital improvements, and so much more. If you have not done so already,
would you consider a 2020 contribution? Unless you have a preference otherwise, you
can designate the gift to the CC&E Development Fund, which provides flexible support
to address the most urgent needs of the college. This contribution can be donated
individually or from a company or organization. Your gift makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your generosity. Your thoughtful scholarship allows me to pursue my passion for environmental sciences, and for that, I am forever grateful.
Victoria Nguyen, Andrew L. “Drew” Wilbert Memorial Scholarship Recipient
This support enables me to develop new research ideas and collaboration, explore new
study areas, and maintain my research lab.
Nina Lam, Abraham Distinguished Professor of Louisiana Environmental Studies
