The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden, in accordance with LSU AgCenter directives, local, state, and federal requirements, shall take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Burden Museum and Gardens will be open as of May 18.
LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden Reopening Guidelines:
Grounds are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Visitors are encouraged to wear masks and cautioned about maintaining social distancing.
Information Center and restrooms are open.
Botanic Garden offices, the Children’s Garden Pollinator Playground, and the Oak Groce are now open.
LSU Rural Life Museum outdoor portions and Windrush Gardens are open to walk-in visitors and families in groups of fewer than 10.

Facilities rental tours must be scheduled in advance.
Tour groups and rentals remain postponed until further notice.
