Pathway to Athletic Training Programs
- Select any major at LSU
- Take the necessary pre-requisite courses for your desired professional athletic training program
- Maintain a high GPA, especially in science-related coursework (3.0 minimum for LSU’s MS in Athletic Training Program)
- Complete clinical observation under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) with First Aid certifications (by American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
