Internal SPE Student Paper Contest held

On Saturday, January 19, 2019, SPE hosted the internal student paper contest for the MS and PhD divisions.  This competition is in preparation for the SPE Eastern Regional Paper Contest.  All graduate students are encouraged to participate at this local event to ensure strong participation in the regional contest. Seven students qualified and competed in Saturday's contest, each presenting a 20 minute oral presentation.

We are proud to announce the winners: PhD 1st place Andreas Michael (pictured left), PhD 2nd place Mojtaba Mosaheb, Master's 1st place Francisco Bruno Teles, and Master's 2nd place Ligia Tornisiello.  These winners will advance to compete in the SPE Eastern Regional Paper Contest, which will take place at Penn State University on March 23.  We wish them all the best!
