PETE student, Mitchell Petras, named Academic All-American

Mitchell Petras, a junior in our petroleum engineering curriculum, was recently named Academic All-American. He has a 4.0 GPA and was recently selected as an Astronaut Scholar by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF). Additionally, he is traveling to the Astronaut Scholar Technical Conference for research he conducted with Dr. Ipsita Gupta and Dr. Adhikari, who is from Coastal & Environmental Sciences.

Mitchell was also one of 50 students nationwide recently selected as an Astronaut Scholar by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation.
