ATCE 2018 Achievements

Events for the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) took place from Sunday, September 23-Wednesday, September 26 in Dallas, TX.  Many of our faculty and over 65 of our students attended ATCE 2018.  The students were well represented and among their many achievements, they placed in 4 spots:

  • Outstanding Student Chapter Award
  • 2nd Place International PetroBowl Competition
  • 2nd Place International Student Paper Contest (Renato Coutinho - PhD)
  • 3rd Place International Student Paper Contest (Brennan Flores - Undergraduate)
