Panera Bread Open in Patrick F. Taylor Hall
BATON ROUGE, LA – LSU Dining is proud to announce the grand opening of their newest campus eatery, Panera Bread, in Patrick F. Taylor Hall on Monday, Aug. 13.
With its identity rooted in handcrafted, freshly-baked, artisan bread, Panera Bread is committed to providing great tasting, quality food that people can trust. Highlighted by antibiotic-free chicken, whole grain bread, select organic and all-natural ingredients, and a menu with zero grams added trans fat, Panera’s bakery-café selection offers flavorful, wholesome offerings. The menu includes a variety of year-round favorites to complement seasonal items and breads baked fresh daily in each bakery-cafe by skilled bakers.
In addition, this is the first Panera Bread to offer kiosk ordering stations–an option that reduces wait time for all guests. The kiosk is highly visual and includes a product builder to assist with order accuracy and customization. Panera kiosks are just one of a series of integrated technologies they introduced to the marketplace in recent years to enhance the guest experience for all consumers.
“This has been an exciting process, and we are so proud to have Panera Bread open on the LSU campus. We have had a great partnership with the College of Engineering, and we feel like their students are really going to enjoy this new addition,” said Margot Carroll, assistant vice president of LSU Auxiliary Services.
