CC&E Congratulates the Spring Class of 2021!
May 20, 2021
This semester, the College of the Coast & Environment would like to recognize the persistence, hard work, and commitment of our latest group of graduates. This group has gained scientific expertise on critical fisheries, plastics in the ocean, wetland restoration, harmful algal blooms, river diversions, hurricane impacts, sea level rise and many other environmental issues that affect our coastal communities. They have earned degrees that will prepare them to pursue careers in oil and gas, coastal land loss, coastal resilience, remediation, bioremediation, health and well-being, environmental toxicology, fisheries, chemical hazards and water quality—all critical areas that directly affect the state of Louisiana, the Gulf of Mexico, and the world. Our alumni have redefined what it means to be LSU Tigers. We wish them a prosperous future as they continue to the next phase of life and positively influence our environment, coast, and economy. |
