In existence for more than 20 years, the College of Agriculture Alumni Association and Friends connects alumni to LSU and the College of Agriculture while supporting the college’s mission of teaching, research and service.
Its purpose is to promote welfare and development of the university and to provide support to all programs within the College of Agriculture and the LSU AgCenter. The association helps:
Develop closer friendships and associations among alumni, students, faculty, staff and supporters of the College of Agriculture.
Assist with recruitment and placement of graduates.
Encourage interest in and support for scholarships, fellowships, research, extension programs and other ag programs.
Encourage activities that promote the importance of the profession of agriculture.
Coordinate and support annual events that build engagement with the college while also providing the opportunity to network.

A visit to campus is one of the most important parts of the college decision process, and we want every future Tiger to feel that special connection from day one. The Lagniappe for Tigers program gives donors an opportunity to sponsor an ice cream for prospective students that visit campus. With your donation you can share a personal message to a future LSU College of Agriculture student about your experiences and how they shaped your time at LSU.
