About AEEE
Welcome
The Department of Agricultural and Extension Education and Evaluation (AEEE) prepares and supports highly qualified agricultural and extension professionals to teach, lead, and serve youth and adults. AEEE’s focus is on two of Louisiana's greatest assets—the agricultural industry and our human capital. Students in this program learn about effective teaching methods, leadership, communication, and facilitation techniques as they prepare for careers both in and out of the classroom within the agricultural industry.

Professional Organizations
American Association for Agricultural Education
The vision of AAAE is to be the premier national society for social science scholarship in food, agriculture and natural resources. Its mission is to foster excellence in the discovery and exchange of evidence-based solutions for social science challenges in agriculture and related sciences.
National Association of Agricultural Education
The National Association of Agricultural Educators is a federation of state agricultural educators associations with more than 9,000 members. Our members are involved in school-based agricultural education at any level, from middle school through postsecondary, and state and national agricultural education leadership.
We advocate for agricultural education, provide professional development for agricultural educators, and work to recruit and retain agricultural educators in the profession. We offer a variety of programs and services to support this three-pronged mission.
Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education
The Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE), established in 1984, is a professional organization for agricultural and extension educators who share a common goal of strengthening agricultural and extension education programs and institutions worldwide.
International Leadership Association
The International Leadership Association is the largest global community dedicated to leadership theory and practice. It brings together professionals from every sector, discipline, and profession across the globe to produce rigorous research, cultivate a deeper understanding of the world, and generate new insights into how to exercise effective leadership.
