Social Events

As with fundraising activities, chapter officers and members get together to plan fun activities for all members to participate in.  Instead of seeing other members exclusively in meetings or fundraising events, it is helpful to get to know others when we meet in a social setting. 

One recurring event that our chapter usually holds is a Halloween Party.  We have this party on a weekend close to Halloween and invite all members to come dressed in costumes.  We usually purchase a small gift which is given to the member that is voted as having the best costume.  It is a good opportunity for new members to get acquainted with others early in the fall semester.
