Louisiana State University Now Offers Master of Arts in Liberal Arts Degree Through LSU Online

BATON ROUGE – The LSU College of Humanities & Social Sciences now offers the Master of Arts in Liberal Arts (MALA) degree through LSU Online. This program is designed for adult learners pursuing graduate-level studies that may not be provided by traditional department programs. With a convenient online format, this program is ideal for working adults seeking to advance their career, transition careers, or re-establish a career after a professional or personal hiatus or military service.
The MALA degree is a broad, interdisciplinary program that integrates and expands the student’s skill set and knowledge base in a flexible format. “The degree includes an interdisciplinary program of study that offers students an opportunity to develop expertise across a range of academic fields,” said Michael Pasquier, MALA program director.
Students can expect a personalized and simplified application experience, and a dedicated learner concierge assigned to them as a single point of contact from acceptance to graduation. They assist with class scheduling and registration, and coordinate with other units on campus on behalf of their students.
