Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Incorporated is the first and only multicultural fraternity in the state of Louisiana. Founded on principles of brotherhood, scholarship, community service, and cultural awareness, the beta's uphold all of these. Every member of the organization lives out these beliefs in their school work, job, and community. Within 30 years of being founded nationally, the Beta's have grown to over 120 college campuses and expanding beyond their Hispanic-latino origins making them one of the most culturally greek-lettered organizations in the county. Founded in the Fall of 2023 at LSU, the betas pride themselves on educating the LSU community about their organization and educating students about causes that are important to them like women health and gender equity.
