Kappa Alpha Theta was established in 1870 at DePauw University. This organization was founded on the four values of intellectual curiosity, leadership potential, commitment to service, and personal excellence. The Delta Kappa chapter was founded at LSU in 1963. Since then, it has strived to provide its members with friendships, memories, and experiences that follow these core values. The sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta pursue leadership on campus through their involvement in student organizations such as Student Government, Fraternity and Sorority Life Unity Council, Order of Omega, LSU Ambassadors, Dance Marathon, club sports, student media, and more. Encouraging each other to be ambitious and bold leaders allows members to become successful students that will prepare them for life outside of college.
