Chapter Symbol

Delta Gamma has a purpose to foster high ideals of friendship among women, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility, and develop the finest qualities of character. Delta Gamma’s national philanthropy is Service for Sight, an organization dedicated to helping those with visual impairments. Delta Gammas at LSU support their philanthropy by hosting biannual fundraising events such as “Slushies for Sight” and “Krewe de Sight.” The sisters of Delta Gamma have adopted a hands-on approach to service, volunteering weekly through partnerships with the Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired, LSU’s Food Pantry, Miracle League, and the Lions Club, amongst many others.
